I know Rudy, I'm having trouble reading it myself and I wrote it!

This symbol: - is a blank space representing one part of a triplet.

4 triplets with nothing played looks like this:

I just filled in part of the triplets with notes where needed. A typical jazz ride pattern would look like this:

where x = cymbal

roy, that looks good man, I'm working on it tomorrow! I think though ( could be wrong) that although the band finishes on the dotted 1/8th, I think vinnie is finishing on the flammed 1/16th before it. But hey, splitting hairs [img]tongue.gif[/img]
